Our Vision is “To see the South Launceston Football Club become Tasmania’s premier football club and player development facility, fostering high levels of respect from the local community”.
Our Role as a club is to:
- Facilitate and develop Australian Rules Football
- Develop junior footballers and provide a pathway to the AFL draft
- Support the local community
- Provide a safe social environment for players, members, supporters and visitors
- Retain talented young players in the local region
The South Launceston Football Club is an active member of your community. We have a proud history dating from 1879 to the present day.
2011 is the 25th Anniversary Year of the merger of the East Launceston "Demons" Football Club and City South "Redlegs" Football Club in1986.
